Standard: Students will be able to demonstrate the outcomes of having a
          heightened awareness and growth of knowledge in a range of
          personal and social development topics.

Benchmark: Students will be able to demonstrate the outcomes of having
          a heightened awareness and growth of knowledge in a range
          of personal and social development topics.

          Students will engage in meaningful team building and personal
          goal development activities. These activities will cover the
          topics of Attitude, Preparation, Perseverance, Respect,
          Honesty, Integrity, Courage, Appreciation, Self-Control,
          Empathy, Gratitude, Tolerance, Duty, Loyalty, Responsibility,
          Compassion, Leadership and Character.

          Students will begin to develop new personal character traits
          and strengthen the character traits they have already
          established. As a result of the curriculum, students will have
          a heightened sense of self, stronger commitment to their
          education, their family, peers and communities..

Assessment/
Pre-Assessment: Pre and Post Assessments will be conducted through a
                variety of ways, including but not limited to the
                following:

                • Pre and Post Topic Class Discussions
                • Self-Evaluations
                • Writing Assignments
                • Journaling Assignments
                • Online Activities
                • Personal/Independent Activities

Essential Questions: Students will answer the following questions:
                    1. What does Character mean to me?
                    2. How can I improve my Character?
                    3. How can developing my character traits help me in school,
                        with my family and peers and in my community?
